This Privacy Policy explains how Beest("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your information when you use the Beest mobile applications (the member app and the coach app) and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, password, role (member, coach, gym), profile photo, date of birth, language and units preferences.
- Fitness data: workouts, routines, sets, reps, weights, personal records, body metrics (weight, measurements) and progress photos you choose to add.
- Coaching & content: programs, nutrition plans, messages exchanged with coaches or clients, reviews and ratings.
- Payment data: the payment method you choose and, for CCP/BaridiMob, a receipt image you upload. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device & usage: device model, operating system, app version, IP address, and in-app activity used to run and improve the Service.
- Push token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to deliver notifications.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you (email, Google, or Firebase sign-in).
- To provide core features: workout logging, programs, nutrition plans, coach subscriptions and messaging.
- To process payments and subscriptions and to confirm manual (CCP/BaridiMob/cash) payments.
- To send transactional and push notifications (approvals, renewals, messages, reminders).
- To provide AI assistance you request (program/meal suggestions and insights).
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and comply with law.
3. Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers who process limited data on our behalf:

These providers have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
When you subscribe to a coach or buy a program, the relevant coach can see the data needed to deliver the service — for example your logged workouts, body metrics, messages and the fact of your purchase. Gyms can see membership and check-in data for their members. We otherwise share data only with the processors above, or where required by law.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8), after which we delete or anonymise your data except where retention is legally required (for example, payment records).
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and restricted access to uploaded documents such as payment receipts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.
7. Children
Beest is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Your rights & choices
- Access, correct or update your profile from within the app.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us.
- Disable push notifications from your device settings.
- Switch the app language (Arabic, English, French) in settings.
To exercise any right, email support@beest.app. Account deletion removes your personal data and content as described in Section 5.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country (including by the providers listed above). We take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
